Description Centrally located on the tidal Thames 600m downstream of Tower Bridge on the north bank. Predominantly residential moorings, plus two visitor berths, located at the east end of the moorings. Good access from Wapping High Street and secure entry by electronic fob. See website (www.hcmoorings.org) for more information about residential moorings. The two visitor berths are all-tide, opposite each other (inner and outer) on the offshore downstream end pontoon, adjacent to the dolphin. The inner berth is 17m and the outer one is 20m, accommodating vessels up to 35m if they overhang the pontoon. Short stays, up to 2 weeks per month. Draught restrictions, (1m below chart datum for a vessel of 5m beam for the inner berth). Visitor vessels must leave sufficient gap - 2metres - between themselves and resident vessels. Water, electricity 16/32A (metered), pump-out, plus WC/shower at Pier House. Please note the moorings are predominantly residential so privacy and quiet, especially late at night, must be respected. Any visitors' dogs must be kept on leads at all times on the moorings. Local facilities: Spectacular location with views of Tower Bridge plus numerous other famous places of interest close by. There is a supermarket, post office, laundrette and chemist ten minutes away, plus several good pubs and restaurants nearby. The area is served by Tower Hill tube and Tower Gateway DLR stations and buses 15, 25, 42, 78, 100, RV1, D3, plus night buses N15 and N551.
